Please keep the cake to chiller within 30 minutes to avoid melting and maintain the quality of the cake. All cakes must be kept refrigerated (2°c – 6°c) at all times before serving.
How long can I keep my cake ?
All cakes are made using fresh ingredients, we strongly recommend to consume the cake within 24 hours from the time of delivery.
If there’s any leftovers, please keep the cake fully sealed in an air-tight plastic container in the fridge to prevent dehydration/contamination and consume as soon as possible.
What is the serving size of each cake ?
All our cakes are 8inch – 9inch in diameter. Our cakes (1 recipe) are available in standard round or square shape only.
If you are looking for customized size cake, you may contact the nearest outlet to you to place order. We do not offer delivery service for customized size cake and customer is required to arrange self-pickup for the cake at the nearest outlet. Please be noted that the outlet needs at least 5-7 days to process your order.
Our cake’s size can be customized based on recipe (e.g. 1 recipe = 2KG, 2 recipe = 4KG) instead of weight (KG).
If you are looking for 3D cake design, you may contact the nearest outlet to you to place order. We do not offer delivery service for 3D cake and customer is required to arrange self-pickup for the cake at the nearest outlet. Please be noted that the outlet needs at least 5-7 days to process your order.
Our cakes are not vegetarian/vegan friendly though we have 3 eggless cakes - Cappuccino cheesecake, Raspberry cheesecake and Oreo cheesecake. Our cheesecakes’ base uses biscuits or cookies and generally butter is used and it may contain eggs and milk. All cheesecakes may contain fish-based gelatin and will not be suitable for vegetarian dietary.
Can I write message on the cake ?
Yes, we can write a simple message on the cake upon request. Please provide your message to us at the “order” page.
Will knife and candles provided for the cake ?
Yes, a knife will be provided for all cake orders. You may request for the number of candles at the “order” page.
When will my cake delivery order be processed ?
Orders will only be processed upon receipt of full & successful payment.
How long does it take before my order is delivered ?
Secret Recipe enhances your experience with 4 hours deliveries (except for Brownies that require 3 days). Please note that to be able to receive your cakes on the day itself, order must be placed by 1pm.
How much time in advance do I need to pre-order the cakes and brownies for the delivery ?
Secret Recipe requires at least 4-5 hours to process your orders (except for Brownies that require 3 days).
How would I know if my order is confirmed at my specified date and time slot ?
An order confirmation email will be sent to your inbox with details of your preferred payment method via Online payment or Credit Cards and details of your selected delivery time slot as a confirmation of your order. Please make sure to check the Spam or Junk Folder in your e‐mail if you have not received our order confirmation.
All successful order will receive a confirmation email with your order number and details. Do check your junk/spam mail box if it’s not in your inbox.
Can I make changes on my order after the order is confirmed ?
Yes, any changes to your order you must write in to us at email@example.com with at least 48 hours in advance. We will not be able to make changes if notice given is lesser than 48 hours. Additional administrative fee of up to RM20 will be charged for any changes made (vary based on changes made).
If I paid for delivery and did not receive my order, will I be refunded ?
Please call our Customer Service team at 03-7804 9206 to check on the status of your delivery. Our Customer Service Officer(s) will investigate accordingly and provide you with a refund should it be ascertained that the delivery to you was not made. Should it be ascertained that if no one was at the location to accept delivery for the allocated time slot, no refund will be provided.
What if the cakes that I have ordered turn up damaged ?
Please make sure to check the cake(s) upon delivery as once the cakes have been collected we won't be able to take responsibility for any damage to the cake.
If the cakes are indeed damaged at the point of delivery (the driver will usually be able to make an assessment), please call our Customer Service team at 03-7804 9206 and we will make alternative arrangements for you.
Can I anonymously send a cake to someone ?
Sorry, we do not accept orders from anonymous sender or sender who wishes to stay anonymous.
What should I take note before proceed to checkout ?
Orders will only be processed upon receipt of full payment.
Secret Recipe will not accept responsibilities for late or non-deliveries under the following circumstances:
Recipient is not present at the address given at the time which the delivery was requested to take place.
The address given was incorrect or insufficient.
No such person at the given address.
No valid contact number was given to us to make reasonable attempts to contact the recipient in order to execute the order successfully.
In the event of any non-delivery, no requests for refund will be entertained due to the perishable nature of our products.
Refusal of any item by the recipient will still be considered as delivered and no refund will be made.
Please read and agree on the delivery/cancellation/refund policy and online policy before proceed to checkout.
What if my delivery order is out of stock ?
We will contact you to arrange for a replacement cake. It is our responsibility to replace a similar product of equal or lesser value.
Do you deliver to all parts of Malaysia ?
We currently only deliver within selected areas of Klang Valley and Selangor. Please view the listing of postcodes which are within our delivery zones, from 11AM-5PM on weekdays.
We do not ship internationally.
Do you deliver to hotel, factory or office ?
Yes, we do deliveries to houses, offices, factories, hotels & gated premises. Our delivery partner may only deliver the cake to the lobby or reception area, depending on the premise’s security policy.
How much is delivery ?
Delivery charges range from RM10 to RM50.
Will there be a surcharge for delivery of multiple cakes at the same address ?
Multiple products (max. 2 cakes) for delivery to the same venue at the same time, under the same customer bill will be charged a one-time delivery fee. Deliveries to different venues will be charged as separate deliveries.
How do I track my order or check if my order has been deliver ?
One day prior to your delivery, you will receive an email confirming your delivery, and a tracking number will be given for you to check your order status with its instructions.
Who will be delivering my Secret Recipe cakes ?
Delivery of all Secret Recipe cakes will be delivered by our delivery partner, GoGet Malaysia.
GoGet Malaysia is a platform that connects Malaysians with reliable part timers, known as GoGetters, to help with an array of tasks.
How are my Secret Recipe’s cakes handled ?
Our delivery partner, GoGet Malaysia will ensure all cakes are delivered professionally. From the moment the cakes are picked up to the drop off, all GoGetters are trained to handle cakes and dispatches with utmost care. With cars as the chosen mode of transport, customers are assured of deliveries of the highest quality.
What type of vehicle will be used for the delivery ?
Cars will be used for the deliveries of Secret Recipe cakes. Cars help to ensure that the cakes are delivered in the freshest possible condition and handled with care.
Payment / Cancellation / Refund
We currently only accept payments via
1) iPay88 for online bank transfers
2) iPay88 for Visa or MasterCard
3) iPay88 for Debit Card
There will be no cancellation allowed after the order is confirmed. In the event that cancellation is needed, the order will still be chargeable at the full price.
Can I ask for a refund ?
Once orders have been processed, refunds or changes to the orders will not be possible.
What if the transaction does not go through ? Will my credit card been charged ?
You will see an error message and receive an email notification if the transaction was unsuccessful. Your credit card will not be charged if the transaction was unsuccessful. In this event, do take note of the error message and notify our office via email firstname.lastname@example.org for investigation purposes.
What if I need to cancel my online order ?
No cancellations are allowed after the order has been confirmed unless special circumstances were being accorded on a case by case basis. An up to RM20 administrative fee is payable for each amendment done to the order to recover transaction charges imposed on payment made via our payment gateway partner like iPay88 and any other administrative costs.
